Why Sell and Rent Back Your Home?

Our clients choose to sell and rent back for many reasons. Some are in arrears or facing financial difficulties and the only way they see to sort this out is to sell their home. This means major upheaval for the whole family and often parents need to change jobs and the kids need to change schools, which just makes matters worse.

As long as there is sufficient equity in your property to enable us to buy it then we can consider a sale and rent back arrangement.

How long can I rent back my property?

Your choice. From 12 months (short term) to 25 years (long term). We'd prefer to have you in the property than other tenants as a) you know the property b) you are comfortable there and c) rental income won't be disrupted because there is a long term loyal occupant.

We will put forward proposals to meet your requirements.

What about my furniture?

All your movable furniture remains your property. We are buying the building with necessary fixtures and fittings. A full itinerary is drawn up at the contract stage so there are no disputes about what stays in the house and what doesn't.

Will you accept housing benefit?

As long as you are eligible for payments from the local council or DSS, then we do accept this form of payment. Please check with the relevant authority to ascertain if you are eligible. Calculate your online benefit entitlements. If you are unable to pay your outgoings or are likely to lose your home, then local councils have a due responsibility of care to subsidize your housing.

What other cost would I have?

Like renting another property or still owning your home, you are liable for all utilities including council tax, water, gas, electric, phone, TV licence etc.
